          About
My name is Mark Christian Avila and I enjoy developing the front-end of websites because I find satisfaction on making stuff visually appeasing and functionally efficient. I am quietly confident, curious, and eager to discover new skills.
I discovered programming when I was at 5th grade because young me found it funny changing the contents of websites with inspect element. Today, I am in university doing my best in learning all there is in web development, always working on improving my skills one project at a time
Technologies I am experienced with:
Projects
Feature project
Anilist
Anime ang Manga information/watchlist tracker web application. My first real react project that started as just a way to practice handling and fetching data from API's, but decided to become a full web app due to my interest in anime.
WordHaven
A dictionary site that displays a word's part of speech, definitions, and uses. This project was a way for me to practice simplistic visual appeal and smooth animations.
Klima
Weather forecast monitoring website with OpenWeatherMap's Api. It features quick overview of the locations temperature and weather, an 8-day and 10 hour weather forecast, and a map visualizing the locations clouds, pressure, temperature, etc.
